To tell you about Roy Barrett ., and the services provided by the residential letting and management department, we have attempted to ask questions that would be of interest to you. The order of these question and answers are listed below:

What type of residential properties do we manage?
The residential management team is supported by our property management accounts department. We pride ourselves on giving a very personal and highly professional service. We believe that good communications with residents and clients is vital to the smooth running of the properties we manage, creating trust that all issues will be dealt with expeditiously.

We are skilled in managing a wide range of properties, including:

  • Individual properties let on regulated tenancies

  • Individual properties let on assured shorthold tenancies

Is Roy Barrett Lettings. capable of handling a large portfolio?
We have many clients, holding large portfolios, for whom we have acted in excess of 15 years. We are happy to advise clients upon the merits of disposing of properties and/or acquiring new ones, thus ensuring that your capital investment is not only maintained, but maximised. Our dedicated accounts department is also equipped to deal with large portfolios. top

Which tenancy agreements do we use?
Where properties are let direct to individuals we use Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements. Where properties are let to companies for the occupation of employees a Contractual Tenancy Agreement is used. In each case the agreement allows for a refundable deposit to be taken in addition to rent in advance, and allows possession to be gained by the landlord at the end of the fixed term or during the term for breach of contract. In all cases a written Schedule of Condition and Photographic Survey is agreed with the tenant to prevent disputes at the end of the tenancy. top

We use all the conventional methods for finding a tenant including:
